Social Studies-Mr. Wallace Foxworth                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    

I currently teach 8^th grade social studies.  This will be my 28^th year teaching, all at Johnakin Middle School.

I earned both my Bachelor’s degree and my Master’s degree in Education from Francis Marion University.

I am a Marion native, with 9 brothers and one sister.  I am the father of two daughters and two sons and I have two granddaughters and one grandson.

I like to fish whenever the opportunity presents itself.  I also like to eat fish, which I can do any day of the week.

I have been selected Teacher of the Year twice at Johnakin Middle School.  I was also selected as the DAR Outstanding History Teacher.  I have a passion for history.  Because of this, I have attended many National Endowment for History (NEH) Summer Institutes for Teachers to enhance my knowledge and grow as an educator.
