  • Welcome to the JMS Media Center!

     

    Library Hours:  7:30-3:30

    Class Visits:  Language arts teachers schedule a 30-minute block of time for book checkout.  Longer periods are scheduled for reference work.

    Small Group Visits:  Students may come from class in small groups of six or fewer with a written library pass or signed agenda.

    Individual Visits:  Students may come during school with a written library pass or signed agenda from their teacher and during lunch.  

    Making Copies:  To make a copy in the media center will cost .10 cents per page (black and white), or 10 Pride Points.  Students, we suggest you bring and use your flash drive so you may print in your teacher's room later at no cost.

    Saving work you do on computers in the library:  We ask you bring and use your jump drive to make it easy to save and transfer your work!

    News Team:  News team members report after lunch and record duringtheir recess on the week of their duty.

     

    Book Checkout:

    A student ID card is required for book checkout.

    Students may check out three books at a time.  Exceptions can be made for research assignments.

    The loan period is for 10 school days -- this means two weeks from the day you check out.

    There is an overdue book fine of .05 cents per day -- watch that due date!  

    Students with overdue books or fines may not check out any more materials until they clear their accounts.
