Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors in Music Bachelors in Music Education
Ms. A. Tepedino
A little about me…
I graduated from Mauldin High School and the Fine Arts Center in the Spring of 2011. In the Fall of 2011, I entered North Greenville University as a Music Education major. While in school, I was uncertain as to whether I would want to teach. I decided to change my major to a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Music and graduated in 2015. Upon graduation, I found employment at a local music store working in sales, flute lessons, and repair. I realized quickly that my real passion was in teaching. With the encouragement of my mentor and my family in 2016 I returned to North Greenville to complete my degree and earn a teacher’s certification in Music Education.
In my spare time I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and spending time with my family. I also continue to stay active in the community by playing in volunteer group called Upstate Winds and volunteering in the schools to work with their flute sections.
That every student is able to be taught when given a nurturing environment.
That it is important to teach the child first and the musician second.
That these children are our future and each one of them have something unique and special to bring to the world.
