Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year! I am your teacher, Ms. Shenelle Gerald and this is my 16th year in Marion County School District. Over the past fifteen years, I have worked in various capacities in MCSD, such as a substitute, guidance secretary, computer lab and science instructor. My current position is Business Education Teacher and, so far, I have had the privilege of teaching Keyboarding to the 6th graders, and Fundamentals of Computing l and ll to 7th and 8th graders. I am a native of Marion, S.C. I earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from Coker College. I am the mother of two adult sons and one adult daughter. I also have one grandson, whom I enjoy spending time with. 

My goal is to introduce students to the field of computer science through an exploration of understanding computer literacy, operations, and programming.
