A Message from Ms. Elliott

Hello MIS Foxes!  I am very excited to be the new assistant principal at Marion Intermediate School.  Even though I am in a new role, I am not new to MIS or Marion County Schools.  This is my 19^th year in Marion County Schools.  I began my career in education at Easterling Primary in 2004, where I taught for 14 years.  Within those 14 years, I taught kindergarten, first, and second grades, as well as Reading Recovery.  In 2018, I moved to Marion Intermediate School, where I served as the Lead Teacher for 3 years.  In 2021, I transitioned over to Johnakin Middle School to assist as their Lead Teacher. I am happy to be returning to Marion Intermediate School for the 2022-2023 school year as the assistant principal. I look forward to partnering with teachers, staff, parents, and scholars to achieve excellence.
