I am a graduate of Fayetteville State University where I received my bachelors degree in music education with an instrumental concentration in grades k-12. I am so excited to start my eighth year of teaching and my second year as music director at Palmetto Middle School. I am a graduate of Mullins High School and a product of Marion County Schools. It has always been my dream to give back to my home community and spread the love of music to develop young musicians.  

I believe that all children are capable of learning and growing, but they have to be met where they are while having a complete support system. This support system must understand that the needs of the whole child should be met in order for him or her to reach their full potential. Lastly, educational success is obtained through a continued partnership between the students, parents and educators which must be nurtured through effective communication and transparency.
