Shakeya McClintock, born and raised in Mullins, SC. My education and career started with a degree in biology. However, my love for children directed me into new opportunities of education. After completing undergraduate at Morris College, and being exposed to a number of experimental, new and different classroom environments, I developed a passion for teaching. It had awakened something in me that I didn't believe it existed. I learned then, as I still believe now, teaching is not only transferring the knowledge to learners, but it also involves compassion and understanding of needs and goals of each individual student. I later obtained a M.ED. in secondary education from Grand Canyon University to enhance my knowledge. I presently attend St. Paul Baptist Church where I’m faithfully involved in many aspects in the church because I believe if I can help someone along the way, then my living shall not be in vain.
Last but not least my motto is "I can do all things through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13.
