Greetings to all of our Creek Bridge STEM Academy Warriors!  I am Dr. Brandon Hutson, your new Principal for the 25-26 school year.  I am excited to join the faculty and staff of Creek Bridge, and I believe we will see our school rise to meet the high expectations set before us.  After all, we are Warriors!  

I have 17 years of experience in education, spanning roles such as teacher, curriculum coordinator, assistant principal, and principal.  I have worked in Richland 1, Jasper County, Florence 1, and Darlington County at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Emmanuel University, a Master of Education degree with an emphasis in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, a Bachelor of Practical Theology degree from Advantage College, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from National University, where my dissertation focused on teacher perspectives and experiences on collaborating with on-site mental health counselors and the effects on student's academic and behavioral outcomes.

On a personal note, my wife, Danielle, and I have been married since 2003, and we have two children: Olivia (19) and Myles (17). We also have a dog named Lacy and a cat named Whiskers.  We love music and all serve on our worship team together. 

As your Principal, I desire to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders as we share the responsibility for positively impacting the future of our community by developing college and/or career-ready students. I am eager to take this journey together to Engage, Educate, and Empower our students at Creek Bridge STEM Academy!  I look forward to having a terrific school year.
