Hello Swamp Foxes!

My name is Mr. Perry Ford.  I am excited to be a Swamp Fox, where the expectation is "Excellence Everyday, All Day"  This is my first year at Marion High School, but my 30th year in education.  

I have a Bachelor's degree from Francis Marion College, a Master's degree from the University of South Carolina - Columbia, and advanced graduate work from the University of Georgia, Coastal Carolina University, and Pembroke State University.  Even today, I take workshops, classes, and attend conferences to improve my skills.

My teaching careen spans many different schools and positions.  I started my career as a 9th grade ELA teacher at Kingstree Senior High School in Williamsburg County. After a year, I moved closer to home and taught for five years at Mullins High School as an ELA and Computer Science teacher.  Next, I moved into a district administration job as the Technology Director in Dillon School District 1 and as a classroom teacher.  Following the merger with Dillon Two, I was reassigned to multiple duties including technician and troubleshooting, and as an instruction technology coach and trainer.

I am eager to meet each of my students and my goal is to assist each student in becoming the best student he or she can become.
