    Mrs. Tanya Roberts, Ed.S.

I am so excited to be a part of the Easterling Administrative Team! It is truly an honor to work with our highly qualified and dedicated staff, our wonderful students, and all of the supportive parents. The primary years are critical times of development for students and families, plus they are the foundation of our students’ educational careers. I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions and every student deserves a quality education. This happens when the school and families work together for the best interests of our children. I am a lifelong educator and have a love for learning. My goal is to be a great servant leader, one who will make a positive difference in the lives of children. I look forward to working at Easterling Primary to make this school year successful.

My college education began at Limestone University. In 1998, I graduated from Limestone with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Then I earned my Master’s Degree from Winthrop University in 2002 in Reading. At South Carolina State University, I completed my Specialist Degree in 2007 in Administration and Supervision.  My teaching career began in Cherokee County where I spent 22 years as a teacher, instructional facilitator, assistant principal, and principal.

When I am not working, I enjoy watching great movies, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family.
