Greetings Mustang Family,
    I proudly welcome all new and returning Mustang Family members for the 24-25 school year! We have spent countless hours meeting, planning, and scheduling what will be the best school year ever at McCormick Elementary. I want to thank all parents, community members, and staff who volunteered their time and resources to assist in planning this school year. I also want to extend a Thank You and an Open Invitation to all the Mustang Family to join in on the fun and excitement we are putting together. 

     For those that are new, I am Dr. Shawn Perry. I am originally from Huntington, WV, where I began my teaching and coaching career. I am married to my beautiful wife Stacy, and we have three children: Alleigh (14), John(7), and Evelynn(3). We moved to Marion in 2022 and joined Mullins First Baptist Church where I currently serve as Deacon and Royal Ambassador Director for boys (1st through 6th grades). We are excited to continue building strong relationships throughout Marion County and are MCSD Proud!. Thank you for your support, prayers, and partnership as we work together to make dreams a reality for our children and future leaders. I have spent my entire adult life with one purpose... to serve others through education in hopes of helping others find personal and professional growth. I have that same vision for our Mustang family! This year, "Mustangs are EPIC!"
