Dear Parents and Students,

I am grateful and excited to be the school counselor at McCormick Elementary School this 2021-2022 school year.

My position as school counselor provides me opportunities to help students emotionally, socially and academically.  

Parents, I am also available to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have pertaining to the McCormick Elementary School Guidance Department.   

My counseling educational background has afforded me training and experiences to help meet the expectations of my position.  I am a twice graduate of Francis Marion University from where I received Bachelor's of Science and Master's Degrees.  In addition, I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina where I obtained an Educational Specialist Degree in School Counseling.  

I believe that knowledge, wisdom and understanding with a genuine concern for the well-being of children will lead them on a road to a productive and successful life.
