Anti-Bullying Flag Activity 2019
Anti-Bullying Flag Activity at Marion High School
October is National Bullying Prevention Month. Students were encouraged to “stand up” against bullying and let their voices be heard during Homecoming Week. During their lunch periods on October 15, 2019, they wrote Anti-Bullying messages on flags and planted the flags in the ground in front of the school. Students wrote messages; such as, “Stop Bullying”, “Tell Someone”, “You are Special”, and “Be You”.
Marion High School students will always remember what they did, what to do, and how to respond to bullying because of the powerful visual display they created outside their school.
Well done Foxes!
