Hey, y'all! My name is Ms. Champlin and I am a 4th-grade math and science teacher. This is my fifth year teaching at MIS and I have had the pleasure of spending four of those years teaching fourth grade. I grew up on Long Island, NY, and moved here back in 2014 to attend Coastal Carolina University. (Go Chants!) In 2018, I graduated with my B.A. in Elementary Education. In 2020, I graduated with my M.A. in Special Education with a concentration in Learning Disabilities. After taking some time off I have decided to go back to school for a second masters in K-12 Administration and Leadership this August through Columbia College. Last October I welcomed my first child, Abigail Grace, into the world! I love crafting, reading, traveling, and going to the beach. Some of my favorite things are anything concerning the beach, coffee, and shopping at Target. I'm looking forward to a great year full of learning and having fun!
