✈️ Exciting news for the MCSD Aviation Program! ✈️
Marion County School District is proud to announce that it has received a $77,446 grant from the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission through the 2026–2027 Aviation Grant Program.
The funding will support the purchase of a Redbird FMX Dual Flight Simulator, providing students with additional hands-on learning experiences as they explore aviation, flight training, and potential careers in the aviation industry.
This new technology will enhance the district’s growing aviation program and give students the opportunity to develop real-world skills in an engaging learning environment.
MCSD is grateful to the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission for its investment in our students and for helping provide opportunities for their dreams to take flight!
