Hello and welcome to the 2021-22 school year! Due to Covid-19 and guidelines that have been put in place to keep us safe, this will be an interesting year. We will all be learning and adapting as the year unfolds. I look forward to what the year holds in store for you as my students and for me as your teacher. 

I am a 1989 graduate of Mullins High School and a 1993 graduate of the University of South Carolina-Coastal. I have 28 years of teaching experience. I taught  my first 3 years at Palmetto Middle under my maiden name, Coleman.  After getting married during the summer of 1996, I then moved to the state of Georgia where I taught 8th grade for 3 years at Burke County Middle School. My next move was back to South Carolina, to Horry County where I taught 8th grade at Carolina Forest Middle. I moved a little closer to my home town the following year and taught 6th grade at Johnakin in Marion for the next two years. We moved to Kershaw County where I taught at Camden High School for three years. My family and I  returned to my hometown and Alma Mater in 2005 and I have been teaching at Mullins High School since my return. 

I am married  to my husband of 25 years and have two children, Ariel and Gavin.
