I am born and raised in Marion County, SC. I graduated from Mullins High School in 1992 and then furthered my education at Francis Marion University. I graduated from Francis Marion in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. Marion School District gave me my first classroom experience where I taught for 4 years. In addition, I taught 15 years with Anderson School District Three.

In 2004 I received a Master's Degree from Lesley University. I am also a state certified mentor, and state certified SAFE-T educator.

Mullins has always been home to me and I'm very blessed to have been able to come back with my two children to the community in which I grew up.
