My name is Miss Gaffney. I will be a first-year teacher this year for 3rd Grade! I am originally from Sauquoit, New York and moved to South Carolina at age 8. I graduated from Marion High School in 2014 and in 2022 obtained my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. I also received my Associates in Applied Science for Business Administration in 2016 from Horry-Georgetown Technical College. I am a huge Atlanta Braves Baseball fan. In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting and spending time with my nephew Kashton. I have two dogs - Holland and Kaliko, and a cat - Simba! When I am not spending time at home, I can spend hours walking around Tj Maxx.  

 

We will have a Class Dojo for communication and a weekly newsletter that will go home with students every Monday to outline our learning objectives for the week. I cannot wait to spend this year learning and growing with my first group of students!
