My name is Selma Guzzarlamudi. I am currently in my 18^th year of teaching in the Marion County School District and it is my first year at Marion High School. I have a Master’s in Chemistry, and a Master’s in Education. I have taught all levels of high school, from Physical Science for freshmen to Chemistry for juniors and seniors.

When I am not teaching, I spend time with my husband and two daughters going on hikes, watching movies etc.. My oldest is a senior at USC (Columbia) earning a major in computer science, and my youngest is a senior at Wilson High School. My interests include traveling, cooking, and reading.

I am looking forward to this new school year! I believe that each and every student has the potential to excel and be successful at whatever they choose to be in life.
