Hello all! I am Mrs. April! I serve as the reading interventionist at McCormick Elementary School!

This is my 12th year teaching in rural South Carolina. I absolutely love teaching reading and helping others learn to read!

I graduated from the College of Charleston in 2010, with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have a master's degree in Reading with an emphasis on elementary education from Grand Canyon University!

In my free time, I love spending time with my three-year-old son Baer, my little dog Chewie, and my husband Ben. I look forward to working with you!
