Mrs. Natalie Grover
Hello, my name is Natalie Grover. During this 2022-2023 school year I will be teaching 4th grade math and science at McCormick Elementary as well as heading up the (STEM) STREAM Club and Lego Competitions.
I am originally from Maryland, but have lived here in Mullins for 32 years. I have been married now for 33 years, have 2 sons, raised here in Marion County and Marion County Graduates, and have 2 grandsons. I love going to the beach and just watching the waves roll in and going to the mountains and seeing all of GOD's glory. I enjoy reading and baking in my spare time.
I have been teaching since January 2004. I have taught a variety of grade levels from first up to ninth grade. I chose teaching as my profession because I want to make a difference and make sure that students obtain a high quality education. I have worked in Marion County for many years and enjoy being part of the school family.
I received a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education and a Masters in Instructional Accommodations from Francis Marion University. I am also middle school certified in math, have an endorsement in gifted and talented education, reading readiness, and have implemented STEM and lego programs in various schools.
My philosophy for teaching is simple: All students are someone when they enter my classroom, but when they leave my classroom, they leave a better someone.
