Mrs. Latrice Bell

I was born in New Jersey and raised in Mullins, South Carolina.   I graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a B.A. in Political Science, and I completed my certification to teach Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies at North Carolina Central University. In 2007, I earned my Masters of Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction from American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, GA.  With over 19 years of successful teaching, I’ve had a plethora of experiences. I have taught language arts and reading in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida and now my home state South Carolina. Teaching in South Carolina affords me the opportunity to give back to my community and share my love for literature and learning.

I have a true passion for working with students and helping them to gain an understanding of the world around them.  My goal is to ensure that all of my students not only learn about literature , but they also become informed and thoughtful lifelong learners.  Helping each child progress in all areas of their development academically and socially is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.

When I am not creating assignments or grading papers, I am spending time with my family.   I reside in the Pee Dee area with my husband and 2 children.   I enjoy reading, writing , watching television, shopping  and cooking.
