I retired from teaching in North Carolina wherein I taught 5th Grade Math for 30 years, and the last 4 of those years, taught Math and Science. I am married and have two sons, Jordan, Special Prosecutor for the State of North Carolina, and Lucas, a Registered Nurse, in Loris, South Carolina.  I am also known as Mimi to Liam, grandson, and Chaitum, granddaughter. I enjoy teaching and when retirement sunk in, I reaIized I was not going to see "my kids" any more or see the excitement on their faces when they "got it" or hear "Good Morning Mrs. Ford" and so, I came to South Carolina to continue teaching.
