If so, encourage her to consider Columbia College’s fifth annual Serious Young Writers Workshops for High School Girls so she can take her writing to the next level.

Workshops are open to girls who will be in grades 9-12 during the 2019-20 academic year and classes are held on campus.

How Do I Apply?
You can apply online via our application. We ask that you submit a writing sample; guidelines can be found in the application. Applications will be reviewed within two weeks of receipt and accepted on a rolling basis until classes fill.
Enrollment is very limited, allowing for small classes and in-depth, personalized feedback.

I am a proud graduate of Clemson University, home of the 2019 and 2017 National College Football Champions! Go Tigers! I have Master's Degrees in Educational Leadership and School Guidance Counseling. I also hold certification as a Global Career Development Facilitator. I am married to Tillman Sanders, Sr., and we have two sons. Tillman, Jr. is a United States Navy Sailor and Brandon is a Junior Biology Major and Presidential Scholar. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, learning new concepts, and shopping.
