Dear Parents and Students,

I want to officially welcome all of you to the 2018-2019 school year!  Summer is almost over and now it is time to continue with the excellent traditions of Easterling Primary School.  We are looking forward to a fantastic school year with all of our students.

We are here to serve all students in our community. We offer a wide variety of quality programs to meet the needs of each student. We have a highly qualified faculty to serve the academic needs of our students and a support staff who is here to help provide a safe and caring environment for each individual who is part of our school community.

Our curriculum is data driven and focuses on student achievement. We have high expectations for each student. We expect students to attend school regularly, put forth an effort in each classroom, and respect the rights of each individual in our school community. Additionally, we believe that all of our students should be on the Wee Foxes’ Path To Success:  Practice safety, Act responsibly, Treat others with respect, and Have a willingness to learn.

We want this school year to be an exciting and rewarding year for all of our students.  Most importantly, we want all of our students to experience academic success.  Know that the faculty and staff at EPS will work very hard, every day, to create a positive and welcoming school climate for students.

Students are required to wear school uniforms to school each day.  Students should wear a solid color polo shirt or t-shirt and khaki bottoms.  The grade level shirt colors are as follows:

  • 5K        Kelly Green
  • 1st        Butter Yellow
  • 2nd       Royal Blue

Our dress code policy for this year is enclosed.  Please read this document carefully.

School starts at 7:45 am and ends at 2:30 pm.  The building opens at 7:00 am each morning.

Easterling Primary School is a great place to be.  I look forward to working with all of you this upcoming school year.  Remember EPS is the place “Where Little People Do Big Things!”
