My name is Dian Edwards and I will be teaching Third Grade Math and Science. I have twenty-five years teaching experience. Although this is my third year in Marion County I have been teaching since 1995. I hold a Credit Diploma in Primary Education from St. Joseph’s Teachers’ College in Kingston, Jamaica and a Bachelors in Education with First Class Honors from the University of the West Indies also in Kingston, Jamaica. I am a Jamaican by birth. I have been living in South Carolina since 2018 and I have been teaching at Marion Intermediate School for the past three years. I enjoy traveling. I have visited the United Kingdom and Wales and several states in the United States of America.  The following are my class expectations.

Expectations

• Be on time for school
• Use the correct hand signals at all times.
• Turn in homework on time.
• Be respectful to your teacher and classmates.
• Enter and leave the classroom quietly.
• Complete all given assignments

I am anticipating a great year in spite of the current situation that we are faced with. I am looking forward to meet all my third graders.
