Hi, everyone! I have been the Entertainment Technology Instructor here at the Academy for Careers and Technology since 1999! My career as a musician/entertainer began in elementary school when I played drums in my first talent show. I have been blessed to have been able to be involved with music all of my life and to earn a living doing something related to the music industry since my teenage years. My teaching career began in 1989. I taught band, chorus and general music at the elementary, middle and high school levels. My undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Mars Hill College and Coastal Carolina University and I earned a Masters Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University. I have served as Worship Leader for several local Christian churches and still perform in a variety of musical formats as well as provide production for many local and regional events. It has been a great opportunity for me to teach at the Academy for so many years and to be a positve influence on so many students!
